Tentative Tour Itinerary

Day 1 :
Arrive Paro – Thimphu
On arrival at Paro Airport complete the immigration formalities and proceed to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) The Capital city of Bhutan. Check in to hotel. Overnight at Thimphu.

Day 2 :
Thimphu – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit King’s Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery, National Zoo famous for National Animal Takin, Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum, School of Arts and Crafts. Overnight at Thimphu.

Day 3 :
Thimphu – Punakha
After breakfast, drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (10,170 ft.). En-route visit Chimi Lhakhang Monastery – The Temple of Fertility built in 15th century. On arrival visit Punakha Dzong. Check in at hotel. Overnight at Punakha.

Day 4 :
Punakha – Paro
After breakfast, proceed to Paro, on arrival visit Kyichu Monastery. Ta Dzong –National
Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities. After visit check in at hotel. Evening free for Shopping. Overnight at Paro.

Day 5 :
Paro – Local sightseeing
Early morning proceed to visit famous Taktsang Monastery – called “Tiger’s Nest” (6 hrs. hike to & fro). OR Chele La Pass. at over 13,000 ft to the west above the Paro Valley. It is the highest road pass in the country and has amazing views of the Himalaya especially that of Mt. Jhomolari. After Lunch visit Drukgyel Dzong. Overnight at Paro.

Day 6 :
Paro Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Paro Airport to board your flight to Hometown. Tour Concludes.
